With 'Circle Lenses' You Too Can Look Like a Living Doll
Yesterday a great debate raged on as to whether or not this girl was real or not. Turns out she is in fact real, and her name is Valeria Lukyanova.
Lukyanova is a Russian singer who apparently loves looking like a living doll - and she achieves this "look" with creative makeup, along with "circle contact lenses".
The website Pinky Paradise carries a huge selection of these contacts which make your eyes look as though you are a real life version of Sailor Moon.
The "circle lens" trend is apparently pretty big in Japan, China, Korea and Taiwan. The fad is slowly making its way to the United States and Canada, and Lady Gaga was even wearing the lenses in her "Bad Romance" video.
Personally, I really don't know what to make of this trend. I find it somewhat scary, but also fascinating because you really just can't help but be mesmerized by how these lenses look.
As long as you aren't hurting yourself, or anyone else for that matter, I guess it's just another unique way to express your individuality...or confuse the hell out of people.
