Just Restaurant and Lounge

This week on Dishin' It Out, we visited Just Restaurant and Lounge in Old Bridge, New Jersey.

Just Restaurant and Lounge is a unique and new fine dining destination, taking components from the best New York City restaurants and bringing them to the heart of New Jersey.

Executive Chef Ira Siegel took Frank Sorrentino through the steps to make their amazing Just "Signature Sliders", which are filet of beef and foie gras burgers, served with straw potatoes and brioche buns.

These sliders are absolutely amazing. We cannot wait to go back for more!



Next, Just's pastry chef, Lauren Genco, showed Frank the process of how she makes the restaurant's most famous dessert: The Chocolate Pyramid. This delicious confection consists of a meticulously crafted flourless chocolate cake with chocolate mousse and vanilla mascarpone. The most special element, in my opinion, is the 24 karat gold garnishment that tops the pyramid. This dessert is to die for and the perfect way to satisfy your sweet tooth.
