Escaped Giraffe Charges Through Small Town in Italy

Aww this is really sad.

A 14ft giraffe escaped and was running through the streets. The animal caused chaos after it went on the run from a touring circus.

The giraffe ran the streets of northern Italy for four hours! It damaged cars and scared pedestrians.

Rush-hour traffic was brought to a standstill as the giraffe walked down the main street.

Video footage captured the animal charging across a garage as people stared in amazement.

The giraffe ended up being shot with a tranquilliser dart. The animal collapsed and died of a heart attack.
