Jay-Z Raises $4 Million for Obama Campaign

Jay-Z and Beyonce are one of Hollywood's richest and most influential couples. They're friends can truly make an impact with fundraising.

Jay-Z's 40/40 Club hosted a $40,000 per plate fundraiser for President Obama. The President took the opportunity to express his appreciation and bond tightly with Jay-Z and Beyonce. Earlier Obama taped an appearance on the "Late Night Show" with Letterman.

The food better be tasty for that price!

Obama spoke at the 40/40 Club about how he thought Beyonce was a great role model for his daughters and that Jay-Z had much in common with him.

"We both have daughters and our wives are more popular than we are. So, you know, we've got a little bond there. It's hard but it's OK," the President said. "Beyonce could not be a better role model for my girls."

The Obama campaign left with a lot of dough- $4 million.
