Chrysler Shows John Varvatos' Version of 300 Sedan

The latest Chrysler 300 sedan never caught my eyes, but this special edition does.

In line with its Made in Detroit campaign Chrysler unveiled during fashion week in New York its Chrysler 300C limited and luxury edition vehicle designed in conjunction with Detroit native and menswear designer John Varvatos.

The designer, best known for his sophisticated rock ’n’ roll aesthetic, said he designed the car for people like himself, who prefer subtle-quality and value.

“I want to buy American and there haven’t really been those cars that I want to buy so I have been buying European cars.”

Starting at $28k with luxury details like a three-layer coat of paint, 20-inch wheels and a hand stitched, Italian-leather interior, Chrysler will make 2000 numbered vehicles to be rolled out early next year said Mr. Chehab.

Affordable and sexy. The sedan is luxurious and roomy. For $28,000, I'd strongly consider getting one to roll around town in.
