Man Tried to Kidnap a Baby While High on PCP

People are sick.

Andre Bowman got hit by a car then allegedly tried to abduct a one-month-old baby belonging to a couple who tried to help him in the accident.

Bowman fell out of a moving vehicle on I-70 in Kansas City. He was run over by a car while on the pavement and appeared to be dead.

“It looked like he was dead on the road, like flat and everything,” says Sara Morris, who stopped to try and help him.

Bowman then tried to kidnap Morris's infant daughter. Emily's father, Matthew Nicotra, stopped Bowman and told him to let go of his daughter.

Police believe Bowman was high on PCP at the time of the accident. He was arrested and taken to the hospital.

It is unknown why he fell out of the vehicle in the first place.
