Get Super Strength with Strongman Training
I lift things up and put them down.
If you are trying to get big and strong, but aren't getting the results you want, you should look at some of the basic training methods of a typical pro Strongman.
I have tried some of these things myself, and have noticed rapid, serious strength gains. No joke!
Incorporate some of these basic strongman techniques into your training to build high strength and a monsterous physique.
1. Carry Heavy Objects This builds insane amounts of core strength as well as rock-hard forearms. You could walk around for a half minute or so with heavy dumbbells.
2. Pull and Push This builds impressive total body strength and conditioning.
3. Practice Lifts Frequently Each session doesn’t need to be heavy, but frequenting the move will help improve form and build a familiarity with the exercise.
4. Lift Different Objects Strongman competitors build strength in the gym, but they also build it outside the confines of barbells and dumbbells by lifting objects like atlas stones, tires, and even trucks.
5. Build Explosiveness Incorporate power moves like the clean and jerk and snatch into your workouts to build total body explosiveness.
6. Combine Strength and Cardio Training Load up some heavy barbells for total body movements and then move quickly between them to get the best of strength and cardio at the same time rather than separating the two.
7. Stick to the Basics Squat. Deadlift. Press.
Go hard or go home!
