Canadian Dance Studio Offers Pole Dancing Class for Kids

A dance studio instructor in western Canada says the pole-dancing class she intends to provide children is a healthy workout and has nothing to do with sex.

But, it's pole dancing, which comes from strippers, so...

Anyway, Kristy Craig of Duncan's Twisted Grip Dance and Fitness Studio in Vancouver believes that anyone thinking along the lines of this being sexual and stripper-related is way off base.

She explained, "There is nothing provocative. There is nothing sexual about it. It's pure fitness and strength and fun. I mean kids love climbing trees. They will climb anything."

I get it, but then why wouldn't you go with that thought then, and have them climb anything else but a freakin' stripper pole.

Craig says she already has four children as young as five-years-old, including one boy, signed up for her "Little Spinners" pole-dancing lessons on Saturdays.

Insane. I'm by no means prude or out of touch with the way the world is, but this shit is just off. You're teaching kids how to dance on a pole. I've taken these classes a number of times before and I know what goes on. It's a great workout but it's absolutely sexual.
