Mother Shaves Numbers into Quadruplets' Hair so Teachers Can Tell Them Apart

Ohhhh, children.

In China, a mother of identical quadruplet boys came up with the perfect way to help teachers and students tell her kids apart.

Essentially, she "labeled" them by shaving their heads with the numbers one to four.

Teachers at their primary school in Shenzen, Guangdong Province, were worried that people would not be able to tell the difference between her four six-year-old sons.

The mother, Tan Chaoyun, explained, "They are identical, even to me. Their father [has trouble] telling the differences among them. Sometimes he would punish the second one for the third one's mistake."

She also added that the only difference between them is the shape of their eyelids.

When the boys were younger, Tan used ankle tags to tell them apart.

I don't know why, but there's something about this that's really sad to me. Also, there's no way that when they get older they aren't going to use this to their advantage.
