Police Release Photos of Suspected SUV in Hit and Run

The Corpus Christi Police Department released photos of what they believe is the sport utility vehicle involved in a hit and run accident that left a jogger seriously injured.

Police are looking for a light-colored SUV, either a Chevy Blazer or a GMC Jimmy, with front-end damage.

The vehicle is very difficult to determine accurately due to the low quality of the photos, but it's still helpful.

The hit and run happened back on Sunday, Aug. 5, when a jogger was allegedly hit by the vehicle while running on Ocean Drive.

Here's my favorite part of the story: witnesses said the vehicle slowed down after the crash, and then sped off. So the driver seemed to be aware of what happened, and decided to carelessly leave the hurt individual alone.

This kind of selfish, reckless behavior really pisses me off.

I wish the jogger a speedy recovery and hope police find the scumbag suspect soon.
