Police Searching for Man Who Tried to Trade Baby for Food

In Florida, police are currently searching for a man who was seen walking near a motel trying to sell a baby in exchange for food.

Detectives released surveillance camera footage of the man walking by the Rodeway Inn.

On Saturday night, patrons at the Rodeway Inn called the police after they were propositioned.

Not-so-shockingly, when officers arrived, the man was gone.

Police believe the baby could be in danger and are asking for the public’s help to identify him.

According to police, the man went door-to-door at the motel in Orange Park and asked occupants if they wanted to exchange food for the baby.

Officers say that the man was last spotted getting into a taxi with a woman in the parking lot of a nearby McDonald’s.

Detectives are working with child welfare organizations and other agencies, as they are unsure if the baby belongs to the man or if the baby was abducted.

Honestly, if you're going to trade a baby for food, it better be something good. I'm thinking at least a nice filet mignon and a lobster tail. Maybe also some garlic mashed potatoes and a glass of pinot noir. Sorry I'm getting a little carried away... It's lunchtime and I'm hangry (The state of being so hungry that it has become infuriating. A hybrid of hungry and angry).

But seriously, these people should be put out to pasture.
