Hmmm
Woman Gets Fired From Her Job For Wearing Too Much Makeup
A woman named Francine Siddaway, 28, was recently fired from her job because she refused to tone down her makeup, and is currently considering taking up legal action for what she claims to be "unfair".

Apparently she wore her trademark Egyptian-style eyeliner to her interview three years ago, and there was no complaint from the staff. However, she believes the hospital she worked for, Addenbrooke’s Hospital in Cambridge, was just using this as an excuse to kick her to the curb because they were looking to downsize. The contractor, Medirest, told 600 employees back in May to take a pay cut or lose their jobs, and Siddaway said:“I feel I’ve been victimised and treated appallingly. It is obvious why they’ve now decided they have a problem.”
However Medirest retorted by saying, “Our dress code is designed to promote a professional appearance and comply with health and safety. All staff sign a form to acknowledge receipt of the uniform policy.”.

I am conflicted as to who's side of this "argument" I am on. Part of me feels her termination over her makeup was heinous, because as long as she was doing her job well what does it matter how her makeup looks? Then again, they did just ask her to tone it down, which I don't feel is an unreasonable request. Just because she got hired three years ago wearing that heavy (unflattering) makeup, doesn't mean that a policy change is completely out of line.

What do you guys think?
Is it wrong that Francine Siddaway got fired for her makeup?
  Yes, her makeup shouldn't matter (11) 37%
No, she should have toned it down (19) 63%
