Bloomsbury Creates $28K Cupcake

If you really want to be a frivolous pig, you can now not only shit gold for $425, but you can also eat the Golden Phoenix Cupcake from Bloomsbury which goes for a staggering $28,000.

The company Bloomsbury unveiled what is now the most expensive edible cupcake in the world. At $1,007, you can get the Golden Phoenix Cupcake at The Dubai Mall. For $28,000, the cupcake comes with the 24 carat gold plated tea trolley.

This cupcake, unlike other expensive cupcakes, is completely edible. It is made of the finest Italian chocolate, vanilla pods from Uganda, and edible gold flakes. It is served with a golden spoon and topped with chocolate icing and strawberries dipped in edible gold.

When asked why the company wanted to create this dessert, a Bloomsbury spokesman stated: ”We have seen people attempt the most expensive cupcakes before. However, those cupcakes are not edible as they are incrusted with diamonds and other components.”
