If you are bored of the same 'ole same 'ole firework routine, and want to maybe blow some stuff up on your own and embrace your inner pyromaniac - the website American Pyro has a map of which states you are "legally" allowed to "celebrate".

The site has detailed PDFs that list the specific rules for each state. You have to look closely because the rules are tricky, just because it may be legal in a town or county doesn't mean it's legal in the entire state.

Want to be a "loner Dottie, a rebel" and say fuck it to the rules, just do so safely - Independence Day is about freedom, and the last thing you want to do is get yourself locked up for playing with fireworks. Do your research and celebrate accordingly!
