There is a major war going on, and no, I’m not talking about the Middle East. Have you been on Lady Gaga’s Twitter page lately?
The pop star’s recent tweets go for the throat of pop blogger Perez Hilton, who has been accused of stalking the singer.
The feud seemingly started when Hilton publicly criticized Gaga’s music.
“Still have the text Perez sent me of me in a wheelchair w the words KARMA written across + Madonna pointing a gun at me. Day of my accident,” Gaga tweeted.
“Please monsters do not be affected by someone like this NOTHING merits this kind of hatred. Im ok & I always survive. Ignore him. Just Dance.”
Gaga recently learned from a fan that Hilton is supposedly stalking her. She took to Twitter again to call the blogger out about it.
“STAY AWAY FROM ME + MY FAMILY YOU ARE SICK TRYING TO RENT AN APARTMENT IN MY BUILDING TO STALK ME. LEAVE ME ALONE!!!” she tweeted.
“DO I NEED TO BE SHOT IT IN THE HEAD FOR PEOPLE TO UNDERSTAND THAT HIM AND EVERYONE ELSE THAT HARASSES ME HAS GONE TOO FAR? IM A HUMAN BEING…I just want to make music+make people smile. Im sorry to all the fans who are trying to enjoy whats suppose to be a happy time. Gone too far.”
Hilton initially responded by retweeting posts from Joseph Kahn, who caught heat from Gaga’s fans after showing support for Katy Perry.
“I am over Gaga’s fan base behavior. Race insults, death threats, homophobic slurs. I’ve never seen such awfulness on behalf of any singer,” Kahn tweeted, which Hilton reposted.
The blogger didn’t stop there. He then released the following statement:
“My heart hurts that my former very good friend Lady GaGa, a person I used to call my ‘wifey’ and traveled the world with, is making very public and very untrue allegations about me on Twitter. While it is still too painful for me to go into detail about why I chose to no longer make her a part of my life, I will say that I am a critic and not a stalker.
“Any allegation that I am stalking her is utterly false, defamatory and now appear to be putting me in danger. I will continue to be a critic—in a way that is not mean or involves name-calling, and I will continue to have an opinion and talk about music and songs, like GaGa’s “Applause.” As the suggestion that I pose a danger to GaGa is preposterous, if fans want to send a message of support to her, they should buy her music instead of sending me death threats.”
Gaga didn’t like the statement very much and immediately responded by calling Hilton a “LIAR” and claimed she “KEPT EVERY PSYCHOTIC TEXT U SENT TO MY PHONE.”
Hilton then said a few more things. There is no end in sight.
