Hysterical TV and News Captions that Actually Happened

News on television and in newspapers are something many of us depend on as the most reliable source of information we have access to.

As I've mentioned before, in college, I produced a news show for my university's television station. I know that sometimes people write words as fillers just to hold the space before they enter the correct information.

Judging by these captions, apparently it's not uncommon for someone to forget to proofread what their staff submitted.

Oops.

I'm glad these mistakes weren't caught because they are absolutely hysterical.
