Addicted to Bath Salts? Now I Have Heard it All!
Monday night's episode of Intervention on A&E featured an interesting young lad by the name of Skyler, 24. Growing up he was an introverted kid with a wild imagination. His mother Tiffany had dreamed of turning Skyler in to an actor/model ala Kris Kardashian so she could live vicariously through him.
Skyler had absolutely no desire to pursue such endeavors, and preferred being a loner - and this caused strife between the two. Such strife that pushed him to become addicted to "bath salts". Yes, you heard it right, "bath salts".
Intervention never fails to surprise me, as past episodes featuring a woman addicted to computer duster, a man addicted to Robitussin, and a Towel that smokes weed...wait no, never mind that was an episode of South Park.
Anyhow, Sykler's addiction has caused him to have paranoid delusions such as being chased by "shadow people" and "brain washers" which he believes he constantly needs to fend off with his arsenal of home made weapons.
Not poking fun at addiction, because let's face it - it is a sad disease that has affected way too many people - but seriously "bath salts"? At least its not jenkem.
