Man Tries To Pay For Meal With Marijuana At Denny's In New York

LOL. In Niagara Falls, NY, a man attempted to pay for a meal with marijuana.

According to MSN, at around 2:00 AM on Saturday, the man ordered $9.91 worth of food at a Denny's restaurant then allegedly offered the cashier $1.00 and a bag of marijuana.

Clearly, the cashier wouldn't accept the marijuana. Upon the refusal to accept weed as a form of payment, the determined, business-minded pothead attempted to sell it to other Denny's customers. The cashier subsequently called the local police, but the man fled into a nearby forest before they arrived.

The man was recognized by another restaurant patron who was able to provide the police with his name and address (weird coincidence, someone at Denny's at 2:00 AM knows the name and address of a dude trying to distribute).

The investigation remains ongoing as the police showed up at his house later the same day, but supposedly he wasn't home.

I tried to pay a cab driver with hand sanitizer once as a joke, kind of. This is probably worse though. I give him an A+ for effort.
